Love it!!!

Corbin's is our first choice for Date Night - or any other occasion. We go often and have had a great experience every time.
We highly recommend Corbin's to our family and friends. We love the atmosphere, the food, and the service!
This is definitely one of the best restaurants that we have ever eaten at.

My husband and I met for the time at Corbin's and so it holds a special place in our hearts.
We had our Wedding dinner there and then returned for our first anniversary. Each of those times the service and food was beyond amazing.
Yesterday it was our 2nd anniversary and so we returned to Corbin's to celebrate.
Unfortunately the experience was not even close to our past visits there.
Our waitress and waiter did an amazing job given the circumstances. The appetizers (crab cakes and spinach artichoke dip) began the meal. The dip was exceptional the crab cakes had little crab and a whole lot of cake filler. If you smothered them in the dip they were palatable.
Then dinner service hit... the pork my husband ordered was over cooked and dry but edible. My steak (ordered medium rare) arrived the first time well done. I returned it only to be served yet another over done steak. The chef came out from the kitchen with the second plate and used his hands to pull the steak apart to show me he could not cook it anymore medium rare. Then left the plate and walked away. Trust me a moment you really had to see to believe!
Needless to say I didnt eat dinner...
The waitress apologized over and over about it and did remove my meal from the ticket as well as a partial credit for the appetizers.
At this point it is highly doubtful we will return to Corbin's which is really too bad. The food there used to be some of the best in the state. Now it is mediocre with prices only those on a Champagne budget can afford.
Corbin's Grille is where its at

Last weekend for date night, my husband and I ventured down to Corbin's Grille.
To my surprise, our wait was very minimal for a Saturday night. We were promptly seated in a cozy, couch-like, booth viewing the waterfall wall. While we were glancing over the menu, the delectable smells coming from the fire-smoked grill in the kitchen were making our mouths water.
For starters we had some juicy-grilled asparagus spears along with my utmost favorite, sourdough bread with garlic butter! Mmmmmm
Jeff's entree was a steak and lobster combination plate that he requests at each visit, even if it isn't offered on the specials for the night.
I ordered my ultimate favorite, shrimp scampi. I mean, who could pass up shrimp prawn smothered in a garlic, butter sauce over a bed of angel-hair pasta?
Although we didn't order dessert on this occasion, I recommend a slice of New York style cheesecake to top of the meal.
- Pros: Amazing food combinations, friendly staff
Davis County's Best Restaurant, Bar None!

I've been to Corbins Grille in Layton a number of times--sometimes with my husband, sometimes with relatives, other times with just the girls or co-workers--a restaurant for any occasion. Every time, the service has been great, the food wonderful and the atmosphere fantastic. Of all the fine restaurants in Layton, Corbin's gets top honors.
Corbin's serves fantastic food all the time. Try their seafood cocktail with special dressing as an appetizer. For a fun evening out, their rib-eye steak is cooked to perfection over a wood-burning stove just the way you love it, with perfect baked potatoes and a wonderful house salad. And sometimes, they have special deals on really big, delicious steaks, which are heavenly. At lunch time, I love their grilled chicken salad with strawberries and citrus dressing (although they have many other yummy things to choose from). Be sure and save room for one of their delicious desserts.
The atmosphere at Corbin's Grille is amazing--peaceful waterfalls, classy wood grain, beautiful china--Corbin's has it all, including a delightful staff. The head chef and owner even make their way around the restaurant to welcome and chat with everyone. What a fun experience it is to dine at Corbin's in Layton--a real original.
- Pros: Romantic, delightful atmosphere, great food and service
- Cons: Na da
An absolute must try!

I loved everything about this place, I had a fantastic USDA Prime Top Sirloin that included the potato and a fantastic house salad for $17. I had heard from many people that Corbin's was expensive which was why I waited so long to try it, but I am now on a mission to let everyone in Layton know how lucky we are to have such a NICE restaurant with delicious, high quality food. Thank you for bringing something unique to Layton! I'm so excited to FINALLY have some non-chain, world class options and I'm so excited to have a local restaurant to brag about to my Salt Lake City friends! Move over Outback, we have a real steakhouse now! :-)
- Pros: Delicous and much more affordable than I expected
- Cons: Wrongly deserved reputation for being expensive
