AWESOME! BEST IN DAVIS COUNTY!. Try the Mexican Crunch! I really love their half price specials in Novemeber...wish they would do that every Tuesday instead of only one month a year. I would definitely go every Tuesday.

who cares if the place isn't owned by japanese people??. I'll agree with what Chafood said below for the most part but the thing is.. Come on people, we live in UTAH. We can't expect super fresh A++++ quality fish all the time. This place has pretty decent quality fishes for being in Utah.

Other hand I'll totally have to disagree with what Ericsky said. I mean seriously, does Japanese restaurant have to be owned by Japanese people? Who cares?? As long as the food is pretty decent with good service, that's all it matters. Probably not the smartest thing you can say about some places! Also don't expect sushi to be cheap because it isn't cheap instant food.

Plus if you're going to call the place weird... How about you spell the word correctly first... geez

One more thing..

reizoku was saying something about the togo menu and the gratuity. They stopped charging togo gratuity fees forever ago and those menus online(grabtakeout?) are very very old, super out dated. They got rid of those color picture togo menu at least 2-3 years ago.. If you want to have no trouble with the total, ASK how much it will cost after you order on the phone.

I love this place and I will always go there no matter what. How do I know about this place so much? Well because I've been here since 2003. I don't work here and I never did. I even know the owners family very well and they're really really nice people. I hope people would stop giving negative reviews about this place because the owners aren't Japanese or anything dumb like that! I give this place 4 stars because I'll agree with some server service issues sometimes, but for the most parts, this place is fantastic.

Usually Pretty Good. I have been here several times. It is usually pretty good sushi. Every once in awhile the fish is not at fresh as I would like or a server isn't great. But for the most part I usually like to eat there.

Average Taste w/ poor service. I belive this is not a Japanese owned Japanese Restaurant. Atmosphere is totally wierd and Sushi taste below average w/ still highly priced. Poor service as well especilally if you order low price items.

Unpleasant experience. Wouldn't be back.

Hidden charges for take out. I decided to try Osaka Sushi today for lunch. I found their information on this site, called them and asked if they had a menu available online. They said they did, and gave me the web address. I decided to try something from their lunch menu (oyako donburi) priced at $7.25. I called, and ordered with no problems. When I went to pick up my order, they told me the cost was over $11. I told them that their online menu said it was $7.25. The cashier said "Oh, the prices have changed from the online menu." I then looked the item up on their current takeout menu to find it priced at $7.99. I pointed this out to them and they reluctantly tried to figure out how to reprice. The cashier then said "That will be $9.53." I questioned the price again to which I was told that they add 10% for takeout orders. It doesn't say that anywhere on the takeout menu I had in my hands or anyplace else that I could see. At this point, I knew that, no matter how good the food might be, I wouldn't be back.
