We visited the copycat store in Layton of our favorite fast food place in Bountiful

My family visited the Paces Drive Inn in Layton and was disapointed, we found they didnt do things the same way,they didnt steam the footlongs, the ice cream didnt have the same rich taste that we get at Paces Dairy Ann in Bountiful and the atmosphere wasnt the same, the tables were all dirty and not very friendly service at all. We will continue to go to the original in Bountiful.

Great Burgers and so, so clean!

Pace's in Layton is apparently a family-owned branch of the original Pace's Dairy-Ann in Bountiful, but is managed and operated separately. The menu items are almost identical, but are really much higher quality than the original Pace's in Bountiful now serves. The Layton Pace's restaurant is also much cleaner and has much better service than the Bountiful location. The prices are very reasonable. The ice cream-slush drinks (rainbows?) are great, as are all the varieties of frozen treats they serve. The best are the Pace bars, which are popsicle like frozen suckers that are awesome! Overall, Pace's is a GREAT locally-owned burger joint that is far better than most of it's competition.
- Pros: Great ice cream products, but all the food is good. Very clean restaurant and friendly service.
- Cons: Can't really think of any.
