Had thanksgiving dinner there today and it was horrible. From the so called fruit salad with a couple of apples and drowned in mayo then the vegetable platter that had carrots, black olives and some terrible little pickles. The turkey had that been warmed up stale taste, gravy was very bland, the green bean dish was disgusting I could not even eat, hoping for some pie to save the day and another major disappointment, apple pie was way over seasoned with cinnamon and the pumpkin was no better. Worst meal I have ever endured. It's two hours later and I still have a nasty after taste and nauseated. What a horrible experience!!!
My husband and I were on Vacation and had traveled through Wy, Utah, and Idaho mainly. We stayed at The Best Western Hotel and decided to eat at Jeremiah's. Well we had several meals there and ended up staying an extra day in Idaho, which meant a few more meals at Jermiah's. The food was outstanding Breakfast ,Lunch & Dinner. Very consistent!! Also the ambience of the restaurant tells a story of the History of skiing from 1930 at least. Beautifully decorated ,you are transported to a very comfortable and relaxed, enjoyable experience . YUM!.
Jeremiah's has the best breakfast I have ever had!! It is far beyond ihop, dennys, or any similar breakfast diner. It is located near the highway, so you do see a couple truckers and traveler types. The decor is very "Utah themed" focusing around the skiing and log cabin feel. There is a bit of a western theme, but it is not over done or tacky. The Pancakes are HUGE (as big as the large plate it comes on) and the scones are amazing. I have never found anything on the menu I didnt love.
The wait can be long to be seated but you can call in to place your name on the list, and the food comes pretty quickly after you've ordered. They dont serve a full breakfast menu all day (too bad) but it is extended past normal breakfast hours.
Editorial Review. Serves a variety of dishes including coconut shrimp, pale ale battered mushrooms, taco soup, steaks, pasta, sandwiches and many breakfast items.
Best Breakfast in Utah. A Utah institution for breakfast, with variety, abundance, and quality. My favorite dish is the Pancho Villa quesedilla (enough for two people). Check out the 6A.M.-9A.M. Special. There is also Steven's hot chocolate. This is a down-home place with Country-Western decor. You will find truckers and cowboys here. There are no yuppie pretensions. Come early, as seating can be very crowded; especially on the weekends. Located in a large Motel parking lot.
