I've never been to a satellite store that sells both dish and directv. I called all over to get the best prices for both and see which one would be the best value for me. I found that most places would give me the bait price for their service and I had to ask is that all the "hidden fees"? Just to find that there were fees that they hadn't explained to me. When I talked to the guys at A-1 Discount satellite they laid out all the "hidden fees" and exactly what my bill would be. They were not pushy and they made it super easy. I've had the service for 7 months now and all was exactly as they explained. All I have to say is that I wish that I would have called them first instead of last. I would have saved a lot of time and head ache.

I have had both DISH and DIRECTV, and many other companies and sub-contractors come over and work on my home. But these guys were the best. I highly recommend them, they are the best. They have saved me over $500 several times and you can't go wrong with them. Call them and you will see what I mean. Thanks

Best Service In A Long time. I was extremely impressed with them. They sell both Dish and direct and compared them both for me. The owner helped me several times. I have a hard time remembering things but he was was patient. Being older and all this new techie stuff is confusing but I feel like they helped me make a great choice. Thank you.

Great Service. Had a great experience with A1. The installer was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. The install was done professionally and the satellite installed where I can scrape off snow if necessary. I would recommend them anytime!

Best Experience Yet!. We have had a lot of services and repairs done to our house over the last few months and this company was by far the most professional. The installer was prompt, clean-cut, respectful and very knowledgeable. We got exactly what we wanted and everything was explained to us up front - no hidden surprises. This company truly values its customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone! GO A1!!!!

Better than A1 steak sause. Great work A-1. Had DTV and had problems for years. DTV installed on peak and the cables looked unsightly. A-1 moved the dish for free and now I can reach it with a broom when snow get in it. Very professional, Highly Recommended. They did my mom's house yesterday and the same great customer service. I'll keep referring people. Rob

Don't go there if you want good service!!!. The customer service was very poor. The first two weeks after installataion, the reception was poor on my new 52" tv, dish said there would be no charge to get it right. I was told by A1 that it would cost $1000 to get the right equipment. After 7 months, two remotes and three receivers, I was still losing transmission about every 3 weeks and my new tv was blurry. I was tired of spending hours on the phone to 'fix' it and was told by a dish network that there would be no fees for cancelling my contract. dish actually reimbursed me for the service I had not rec'd. A1 called with a nasty call and turned me over to collections for $400. They have not sent a bill or contacted me and refuse to budge. I went to directv and my reception is excellent. Don't go through A1 for any installation or sales!!!!!!

Dishonest company and worst customer service. This company is definitely dishonest. They defraud their parent company, DISH NETWORK, and do not take care of customers after the purchase is completed. I called them to replace my remote control and they told me that it would cost $40.00, or i could get an entire system for free by cancelling my current account and signing up as a "new customer" by adding "basement apt" to my address. Then, when i had the system installed, the installer forgot to set the remote up properly, so it wouldn't change the channels on the second tv. I called to have the installer return, only ten minutes after he left, and i was told that he would not. I then went to the store to ask for the problem to be resolved, and the owner of the store told me to leave because he had already told me that the installer wouldn't return. Luckily the installer called me two hours later, and risking his job, he stopped by and fixed the problem...admitting that the mistake was in fact his fault. Do not do business with this company. Look for other Dish Network retailers. I've also noticed that the favorable oppinion posted here is the same posted elsewhere on the net, which was obviously posted by somoene who works for the company.

Bad customer service. Told us that anytime we had a problem to call them and not directv. Well, the first time we called them, they told us they cannot do anything that we had to go directly to directv. Thanks so much for the "help".

True satellite experts, the install was done just the way I wanted. Thanks A-1. Very friendly and informative. Best of all they they quoted me exactly what my bill was. Very professional and clean. I am very happy with the whole process, sales to install. Thanks A-1
