In Short – Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

That last review was written by their manager

This is a good restaurant that knows how to cook steak the way you order it! The onion blossom is NOT their best appetizer, no matter what the management says. It is too greasy, the breading falls off easily, and you are left dipping pure onion into the 1000 island dressing. With their generous potions and bread brought before the meal I reccomend skipping the appetizer, and try to save room for dessert. They make great Virgin Daquiris and Pina Coladas too. If you want a quiet evening don't even bother. This is a classic tile floor "loud" restaurant. Carpet would be nice to help soak up the sound. Expect a wait during peak evening hours (6-8). Waitstaff is usually very helpfull and professional if you treat them with respect. This is a great place for large groups too. Hope this honest, non-management writen, review helps!! ENJOY

  • Pros: great steak, cooked properly, large portions
  • Cons: noise level high, wait for table, blooming onion

G'day, Real Steak!

by Maleficarvm

This is definately, with out a doubt, my favorite restraunt. Fairly similar to other good steak houses with a bit of personal touch. Their bloomin' onion is the best onion blossom I've had. If you like spices you'll love this place. When you say "steak rare" that is exactly what you get, and in generous portions. The wait staff are polite, and prompt. They even go the extra mile to accomodate you on specialty drinks.

Start off with the bloomin' onion and their really great bread, move on to a nice juicy steak, have a couple of drinks, and if you aren't stuffed grab some cheesecake. The atmosphere rocks, and the bar is great for spectator sports and a well poured beer.

The steak is definately the best that I've ever had.

  • Pros: STEAK!!!(Spicy), Laid back atmosphere
  • Cons: ReallyBusyOnVDay
