Great food at an affordable price. We decided to try the Pine Garden Cafe after receiving a menu in the mail, and now we are regular customers.

They have a variety of dishes, including traditional favorites such as Kung Pao chicken (very flavorful with just the right amount of spicy zip), General Tso's chicken (the best you can get in the Salt Lake area), and beef and broccoli (also very good). They have something for everyone; plenty of chicken, pork, and beef dishes, but also lots of seafood plates and vegetarian/vegan options.

A typical lunch/dinner combination plate includes an entree, rice (pork fried is my favorite, very flavorful and not at all greasy), egg roll, cream cheese wontons, egg drop soup, and a fortune cookie, all usually for around $8. A great price for a lot of food, and it heats up well if you wind up with leftovers.

The Pine Garden really is a great casual Chinese restaurant, something I had been looking for ever since Chop Suey Leuy's closed down. Fantastic food at a fair price.
