Scott Argyle and the entire team were incredibly helpful and friendly while I purchased my vehicle. I would encourage anyone shopping for a new or used vehicle to only shop at Toyota Bountiful.
We recently purchased a new Toyota Sequoia and are extremely happy with Toyota Bountiful! Honestly, we weren't happy with our first sales person but Kirk Bengtzen turned around a potentially poor experience. He personally answered all our questions and was very patient with our decision. He knew his information about he vehicle, responded (day or night), and provided the best price on the initial request. We live in Boise, ID and compared with dealerships across the Northwest. We literally talked with dealerships in greater Seattle, Spokane, WA, Portland, Salem, Ontario, OR, Pocatello, ID, Boise, and SLC, UT. In the end we came back to Toyota Bountiful who gave us everything we wanted when others would not. We are so happy with our Toyota Sequoia and can't say enough. You all are awesome and I will be back to buy from you on our next auto purchase.
UPDATE: We took our minivan for a checkup on April and they told us that it needed work that would cost us around $1500. We didn't have the money at the time so we started saving to do the work.
Now in May we figured since we bought a repair contract maybe it was covered? So we called and they told us it would not be covered because we were over our miles. The funny thing was that it was covered at the time they found the problem. We asked them if they were going to do anything to help us but said that there was nothing they could do.
So I filled up the Toyota survey for that service visit and gave them a bad rating. Called Toyota and reported the issue with the dealership. I got a call back later from the dealership service department saying they were contacting the insurance company and trying to get them to work with us since they had documentation that the issue was there when we were covered. Suddenly they were trying to help us so we were happy.
That feeling was short lived because then I received a call from the General Manager, Kirk Bengtzen, saying that since I had left a bad review he had instructed his employees not to help us at all and that I could take my car to be fixed at any other place and hung up before I could explain myself.
The sad thing is that all this could have been solved back in April if they would have checked that we had the service agreement they sold us when we bought the minivan from them and that we were covered. I admit we should have asked about it. I guess we were confident they would care about us enough and would know about our service contract. I guess we trusted too much.
In short, when things went bad the service department didn't pay enough attention and then management decided we were not worth the effort for even the smallest courtesy. I guess I learned they can't be trusted the hard way.
UPDATE: After talking directly with Kirk Bengtzen we were able to find a way to make it work for everybody. I do appreciate very much that he and his team put the effort to work out a deal that will get us back to a working car without going bankrupt. It's very good to know that after all these hard times we will be taken care of. Thanks Bountiful Toyota!
If you buy a used car from them take it straight to your mechanic and get it tuned up. Or you'll likely spend thousands of dollars like we did. And don't buy the extended warranty. It is worthless no matter what they tell you.
I usually never write reviews, but the service here, especially by Kahn at the dealership was so deplorable! He seemed nice enough at first, but rather than talking about the car I wanted to buy, kept talking about his baby on the way, and didn't seem very informative of my questions....that should have been my first worry. Anyways I unfortunately bought a car that didn't have ABS brakes from them, which I found out after leaving (Kahn, of course did not inform me of this) the dealership was nice enough to let me bring back the car the next day and get something else. Yet, my story of problems with this dealership and Kahn does not end... Kahn promised me a spare tire with this car (it did not have one in the trunk and is a used car), and 3 weeks later, I'm still waiting. He won't get back to me and I feel like he is not being honest and is jerking me around. As a healthcare professional, I value honesty and professionalism, and have found the professionalism and honesty of this dealership lacking. I do not plan to ever go back there for future business, and definitely when friends, family, or even patients are looking to buy a new car, I would never recommend this place!
I want to thank Menlove . They have made things look a lot better for me and I love my new ride . I though i would never get out of the mess i was in and I would indeed tell friends and Family.

I am a Toyota lover and so I'm very picky and I know my price range and when I came here the customer service was unbelievable
